I've been.... a little hot for Pinkie lately..... :iconpinkepieplz:

Tried something different with her colors this time. They're not quite right, but that's life when you're dealing with real media. :iconpinkiepieduhplz: I was, however, happy with the texture of the light on her, which of course cannot be indicated by this scan. :iconpinkieshrugplz:

Enjoy my little ponies!!! :iconcheerileeplz:

UPDATE: 1/24
I just was really really unhappy with what my scanner did to this one, so instead of scanning it I decided to photograph it with my HD camera. This allowed me to get both the colors and textures right, which is really what bothered me. Although it was photographed on a flat surface and lit well,. as you can see this introduces a slight shadow. However, it means you can actually see what my art looks like in person. Waaaay better. Enjoy!

You know, I've always admired how well you draw (pardon the pun) the FiM artistic style into the realm of depth and realistic shading. The way you render their poses and posture is commendable, as well; there's just enough anthropomorphism to fit the characters to their subject matter, but not enough to detract from their intrinsic adorabilitude. The result is often something (or rather, somepony) that's as just as sweet as spicy.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. Your work stands out from a lot I've seen, and your dW feed is one of the few I actually check regularly. Keep up the awesome work. : )

Thanks very much! I try to bring out the appropriate atmosphere in my subjects without seeming to grind too harshly against the actual subject matter.. it's a delicate balance, I'm glad I do it satisfactorily to your eyes. :) And thanks for typing out a lengthy response. My art takes a long time to create and it's very satisfying when I see a response that's more than a silly quip or plz. You have a lovely weekend. ^___^

And I do hate to hear that your scanner was uncooperative. Getting the flipping things to capture a piece the way you want is an art form in its own right. : /
